From the Dugout - Entry Two

From the Dugout - Entry Two

My third week of college was eventful, to say the least, and my busiest one so far.

This week consisted of the first grade checks, first practice in the rain, and three exams. Although I knew I was passing all of my classes, grade checks were still very stressful. I saw two of my professors only once this week so I had to find another way to get them to sign the grade check. I emailed them constantly and did not stop until they finally signed off on it. Thankfully I turned the grade check in on time with all passing grades.

It was a rainy week at CBC, and that put a damper on outdoor sports. However Coach did not let the rain stop us from an intra-squad scrimmage on the baseball field. We were completely soaked and some torn up from  turf burns, but we were all smiles after practice. There were a few late night study sessions this week since I had a math, speech, and education exam. My late nights paid off because I passes all three of my exams with flying colors.

I'm enjoying every second here at CBC and I know it will only continue to get better. Now, if only I could get time to slow down.
