Cougar Athletics Schedule Update – Weather-Related Changes

Beeville, TX- Due to the forthcoming winter storm impacting South Texas, Coastal Bend College Athletics has made several schedule adjustments to ensure the safety of our student-athletes, staff, and fans.

  • The CBC Women's Basketball team has moved its home Region 14 Conference game against Kilgore College from Saturday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. to Friday, January 23 at 12:00 p.m. at home.

  • The CBC Softball program's home opening and season-opening Round Robin Tournament has been canceled due to anticipated weather conditions. The tournament was originally scheduled to begin the morning of Friday, January 23 and run through Saturday, January 24.

  • CBC Softball will now open the 2026 season on the road with a doubleheader against Texas A&M University–Victoria in Victoria, Texas, on Friday, January 23, with first pitch scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

  • The CBC Baseball team's season-opening home series against Odessa College has been canceled due to the expected weather conditions.

  • The CBC Men's Basketball home game scheduled for Saturday afternoon against Bossier Parish Community College has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.
